Maybelline Baby Skin Review | Instant Pore Eraser

Maybelline Baby Skin Review

Hi Beauties!

So I in recently tracked down the Maybelline Baby skin, and I cannot rave about it enough! This product has proved extremely popular, as it was sold out in pretty much every store I tried (in New Zealand). I grabbed a tube at Farmers Department Store for $16NZD, but I later saw it for $11NZD at Countdown Supermarkets (Grrrr), so I would recommend getting it there instead!

I think that quite a few people have decided they dislike this product, but one thing to keep in mind is that its not a primer, but rather a pore eraser, and a great one at that!
Baby skin has a clear formula thats super lightweight and soothing on the skin-even the packaging's cute!

I have tested mine under foundation for 2 weeks, using it everyday and I have found it really does an amazing job blurring my pores, and giving my skin a much smoother base for foundation.  I personally have problem pores around my nose area, and these were dramatically reduced!

Overall I give this product a 9/10, and would absolutely purchase again!

Thanks for reading, and hope this helped!

Products I recommend-the Benjabelle brush tree

Benjabelle brush tree-Daisy

I recently picked up the Daisy model of the  Benjabelle brush tree, in white and I am absolutely in love with it! The packing is pretty cute, and I was also really impressed with the fast and informative shipping they gave!

The tree is super easy to put together, and is really well made. The idea is to dry your brushes effectively after washing them (a chore basically everyone hates), so the tree is a great, easy way to dry brushes quickly, thoroughly and in a way that means they don't lose their shape.

I chose the daisy model as it wasn't too big, and had a variety of rubberised brush holder holes, so it would do face and eye brushes. Also, this was one of the cheapest at $20, so I could totally justify it to myself, haha.

If your intrested in having a wee squizz at your own brush tree, have a look here. Before I purchased mine, I had a hunt for similar products to compare, and i have to say, Benjabelle have produced something that seemed to really be lacking in the market, as I could't find anything else like it.

Thanks for reading,

Review on Chi Chi Cosmetics

This is one review I am happy to make!

Quite a few New Zealand you tubers have raved about the amazingness of Chi Chi and I felt I had to try it for myself. My two favourites I have tried so far are the Fabulous and flawless foundation and the 'bronze wall of shimmer', facial highlighter.

The fabulous and flawless foundation comes in a soft polish, solid glass bottle, with a handy dispenser pump. Made in Italy, the consistency of the formula is to die for. Not only does it provide a flawless finish (as promised!), but also has a really lovely fresh smell, and feel to it that is super hydrating on the face. The coverage is medium to full, with the ability to build it up, and as far as I have found, it doesn't build up around the pores/nose area, or leave my skin feeling oily or dry (I have  normal to dry skin).

I did purchase this for I believe $45-$50NZD from Farmers department store (steep I know!), but it can be purchased from their website for $29.95 (much better!) In short this the foundation that makes me feel as though I'm wearing no foundation, but still gives great coverage, totally recommend!

I also love this facial highlighter, which comes in adorable packaging, and an easy handling, pop open front. With shades that range from a shimmery white through golden tones, this highlighter reflects beautifully, and also has a subtle hint or glimmer to it (nothing to extreme, don't worry). I also purchased this from farmers for $25NZD, but it is available for $20 on their website. Another fact I love about Chi Chi is that they don't test on animals.

All in all I have found the quality of Chi Chi's products to be amazing, and I can' t wait to try out more from them!
Find them here: Chi Chi cosmetics
You can also purchase Chi Chi from Farmers: Farmers: Chi Chi

Side Note: I promise this is not a sponsored post, or shameless promotion, rather I just want to spread my love and recommendation!
