Australis AC ON TOUR Contouring and Highlighting Kit || REVIEW

Australis AC ON TOUR contouring and highlighting kit || REVIEW

Hi Beauties!

This christmas I was lucky enough to receive the Australis AC on tour kit, which I have been lusting over since it came out, but just couldn't convince myself to buy. If you're in the same position, I'm here to tell you, yes you should buy it, and yes it is absolutely worth the around $25NZD you will pay for it!

The mini 'palette' if you will, comes in pretty standard packaging- metallic pink lettering against a black case. Once you open it up you are greeted with six different circular powders (the kit does also come in a cream contour option).

The top row consists of a light, paler powder, a yellow corrections and under-the-eye powder and a orange-red tone highlighter with the gentlest bit of shimmer.

The next row along consists of a soft brown with a  slight hint of grey undertones, the nest another brown powder, perfect for contour with clear grey undertones, and the third a more orange based brown great for bronzing. Neither of these bronze tones contain sparkle which is perfect for contouring-of which they were obviously designed.

There are so many things I love about this kit I'm not sure where to start. first of the shades offer great variety within the palette, are great quality-they feel lovely and dreamy-creamy on the skin, and you get a pretty good amount of product. The smaller size of the kit also means it great for travel, or even popping in your handbag-although it doesn't have a mirror on the inside of the lid. The kit also comes with a sticker on the back which demonstrates how anywhere to highlight and contour, accompanied by written instructions. This is great for first time users, but also those you are a little unsure, or just want to make sure they are using the product correctly.

However two of my favourite features are yet to come. First off
Australis are cruelty free, which makes this product 100 times better. Secondly the kit comes with such a great range of options. Not only do you receive the choice of powder or cream, but both options come with three ranges to chose from: light, medium or dark. Too often cosmetic brands offer a small and limited colour palette range of which they base upon light toned skins and then have the audacity to name their colour range 'normal' and 'skin toned', as if this was the only option needed. Because of this I am now am even greater supporter of Australis.

Overall, I feel this product is great quality, has a lovely feel to it and has wonderful quality (and ethics) for money.

Hope this helps, and thanks for reading!

Love Becca
